classification
The coat of a long-haired rabbit consists of mixed hair. According to the morphological characteristics of rabbit hair fiber, it can be generally divided into three types: fine hair, coarse hair and two types of hair.
Fine hair
Also known as fluff. It is the softest and finer hair fiber of the long-haired rabbit coat. It is wavy and curved. It is 5 to 12 cm long and has a fineness of 12 to 15 μm, accounting for 85% to 90% of the total hair. The quality of rabbit hair fibers depends to a large extent on the quantity and quality of fine wool fibers and is of high value in the wool textile industry.
