After the Ming Dynasty passed to the Jiangning Weaving House in Nanjing, it was developed into a unique carved velvet in Nanjing. It was popular among the literati doctors. For a time, “Jinling Cashmere is expensive”, and the nobles and the nobles all compare to wear the carved flowers. Velvet is proud. The two important velvet objects of the Ming Dynasty were the velvet crown unearthed from the tomb of Wang Xijue in Suzhou and the double-faced velvet four-in-one embroidered dragon-filled women's clothing unearthed from Beijing Ming Dingling, and the blue single-faced velvet women's clothing.


At the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, the velvet velvets were distributed outside the east gate of Zhangzhou, and there were merchants swimming in the franchise. In the middle of the Qing dynasty, from the emperor, the scholar-official, down to the local official 绅 velvet, and set a tribute. Products include robes, palace clothes, horse stables, accounts, tablecloths, etc. At that time, Zeng Yi was a velvet hand. The handed down cultural relics include Qing Jingling velvet enamel gold crown, late Qing Dynasty blue velvet group Babao Da Ma Ma, Qing Guangxu purple velvet Fushou three multi-grain vests, velvet landscape axes, velvet sinking painted peacock figure axis, five bats holding Shou carved flowers and velvet.


The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom uprising, velvet teachers and artists have avoided Jiangsu and Zhejiang. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, the government was corrupt, and the sanglin in Zhangzhou was cut down and landed. The silk materials became increasingly scarce, and the old artists died. The velvet gradually declined. Only Yu Zi and Zeng He two velvet artists. Nanjing, Hangzhou and other places have been developed due to the arrival of velvet artists.
