Comb method:
The combing is usually a metal comb or a wooden comb. The order of combing is first neck and shoulders, then comb the back, body side, buttocks, tail and hind legs, then lift the skin of both ears and neck to comb the chest, abdomen, and both sides of the thigh, and finally arrange the forehead, cheeks and ear hair. When encountering agglomerated hair, it can be slowly torn and then combed with your fingers. If it is difficult to tear, you can cut off the agglomerated hair.
Precautions
Comb is a meticulous and time-consuming task, especially for long-haired rabbits with sparse hair and easy to agglomerate. Long-haired rabbits have thinner skin, especially thinner skin around the base of the tail, to prevent tearing of the skin. When combing, it should be from top to bottom, and the right hand-held comb should be inserted from the direction of the hair, and the comb should be lifted in the direction of the reverse hair.
